Welcome to the Boost Trail Club Jessore Trekking.

Jessore Sloth Bear Sanctuary, the second highest hill of Gujarat, is an ideal hunt for jungle trekking.

Located in the lap of Aravalli hills in North Gujarat, bordering Rajasthan, Jessore Sloth Bear Sanctuary has many rare species of flora and fauna. The sanctuary is known more for the endangered Sloth Bear. The other important faunal species are leopards, Rhesus macaque, Indian civet cat, porcupine, fox, striped, hyena, wild boar etc. The major floral species comprise Ber, gando baval, khair, Isaraily baval, dhav, dudhalo, gando baval, dhavado, saledi, kadaya, siras, gorad etc.

The multistoried forest provides a suitable habitat for variety of birds ranging from land birds to water birds. As per the IUCN classification many rare and endangered species of birds are also found in this sanctuary. The reptiles include snakes, tortoises and lizards of various types. The rarest Indian Python is observed beyond Muni ji ki kutia.

The scenic habitat is known to offer a surprise sighting of Sloth Bear under the moonlight.

Schedule

• Reach at the base point at about 7:00 hours

• Ice-breaking session and Breakfast

• Leave for the trek with Guide after the Breakfast.

• Return from the trek at about 16:00 hours

• Evening Meal

• Return Journey

Trek Details

Moderate level of fitness is required as there would be hours of walking on rocky trails. The elevation of terrain may change throughout the trek.

Other Instructions:

Wear full-sleeve jersey/shirt and comfortable and breathable trek or full pants along with hiking/sports shoes and sports material thick socks. Carry your water bottle and Rain Jacket/poncho/raincoat. Also, carry your own trash bag.

Do not litter.

Walk slowly and quietly. Keep your eyes and ear open. Don’t talk. Listen to the nature and enjoy the trek.

Anyone above 12 years can participate.

Only Veg meals will be served. (Breakfast with high tea and dinner).

Jain food available.

The Boost Trails Club and its conductors reserve the right to terminate participant with a no-refund policy for any unreasonable behavior during the hike/ trek/ camp/ workshop/ event.

For cancellations of any hike/ trek/ camp/ excursion/ expedition/ workshop/ event:

- Cancellations prior to 12 days from the start of the hike/ trek date - 80% refund will be made.

- Cancellations prior to 7 days from the start of the hike/ trek date - 40% refund will be made.

- Cancellations less than 7 days from the start of the hike/ trek date - no refund will be given.

(For any cancellations we need to have written mail with specific reasons on our official account: boosttrailsclub@gmail.com. Cancellation requests will not be entertained over the phone call. Cancellation refund will be carried out according to the refund policy, no medical reasons or any favors will be entertained. As per cancellation request, payment shall be done during any 6 working days post the trek).
